CHR® Copper or Aluminum Foil Backed Tape

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics offers a broad range of PSA tapes serving industrial and commercial users. Produced from a variety of film, fabric, metal, laminations or paper substrates with acrylic, silicone, or natural rubber adhesive systems, Saint-Gobain is uniquely able to produce outstanding, and sometimes proprietary products.

FOIL ALUMINUM

Aluminum A602 and A603 tapes were developed for specialty shielding applications and often find usage as a high performance masking tape.

A662 tapes were developed as a high performance masking tape that provides area for aircraft windows during chemical stripping of old paint and for the cleaning of aicraft prior to repainting. They offer excellent protection so as to eliminate the danger of etching and clouding windows.

FOIL COPPER

Copper C661 Tape is developed for specialty shielding applications; typically IC chips, electrical cabinets, cables, motors and static dissipation. C665 tape is designed for conductivity through the entire construction.

The copper foil surface of C661 is electrically conductive, conformable and easy to apply. Its release liner aids in die cutting. The EMI/RFI shielding seals components from radiating or leaking interference. The copper foil and adhesive of C665 are both electrically conductive and the release liner aids in die cutting. Both tapes offer solvent resistance.
