Bonds to a Variety of Substrates and Resists Corrosion: 3M Scotch-Weld Metal Bonder Acrylic Adhesive DP8407NS bonds to a variety of materials (especially bare metals such as aluminum, cold rolled steel, copper, brass and bronze) while resisting corrosion. This gray structural adhesive can even bond slightly oily metal with minimal to no surface preparation. The skin formation and curing times are dependent on humidity, temperature, and joint depth. By increasing the exposure to moisture these times can be reduced. TEROSON MS 5570 is sag resistant and has a high initial tack. It is non-corrosive, free of solvents, isocyanates, silicones, PVC, and is odorless. TEROSON MS 5570 demonstrates good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and is compatible with suitable paint systems. Used in conjunction with Permabond cyanoacrylate adhesives to promote a faster cure and to extend their gap-filling capabilities. It significantly reduces the whitening effect often associated with more active cyanoacryates. It has been developed to be non-harmful and non-flammable making storage, shipment and use of the product less hazardous. Use of CSA-NF enables fillets of cured adhesive to be formed if required and can be used to reduce the effects of blooming, which can affect black or decorative surfaces. Also, it facilitates the bonding of porous surfaces.
